Working Experience

Human Language Intelligence Lab | Internship | Jun 2025 – Sep 2025
  • Implemented text-infilling pipelines using PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers for masked language modeling to support research on generative NLP models on the Vietnamese language.
  • Improved cultural representation in language models by integrating diverse datasets, achieving near-perfect accuracy on benchmark cultural test sets.
  • Implemented the Cultural Bias Score (CBS score), a novel evaluation metric to measure model performance, and conducted experiments on bias detection and mitigation in Large Language Models (LLMs).

Lab Access System for Lab Reservation System | Sep 2024 – Dec 2024
  • Contributed to building an AI face recognition function for a lab reservation system by researching the efficiency and compatibility of OpenCV and TensorFlow libraries with our current hardware system
  • Responsible for hardware management through the contribution to project hardware selection, balancing between our budget and functionality, and designing and modifying 3D components, models, and printing for our project
  • Contributed to product testing and resolving software and hardware conflicts for our project, maintaining the full working efficiency of the final product
